Estimate how many units you need to sell to cover your fixed costs, based on your selling price per unit and variable cost per unit. Optionally, see how many units you need to hit a target profit.
Fixed costs are expenses that do not change with the number of units sold (e.g., rent, salaries, insurance).
Variable costs increase with each unit (e.g., materials, shipping, transaction fees per unit).
If you enter a target profit, the tool will estimate how many units you need to reach that profit level.
Formula: Break-even units = Fixed Costs ÷ (Selling Price per Unit − Variable Cost per Unit). This assumes a single product with constant price and cost per unit.
